Sunday September 19th we”ll release our single “Directions” in Paradiso Amsterdam.

Together with 4 other great bands we will do a gig of approx 30 minutes. All the bands will release
their new single and videoclip. All of this is a part of the NH Pop Live project.

If you want to have a rocking Sundayafternoon on the 19th … come to Paradiso and enjoy !!

Finally! We’re good to go once again! Now that everyone has returned from their holiday (Sander & Nigel went to Spain, Thomas went to Belgium) it’s time rock the world again! we’ve all written a lot of material in the lonely hours when there was nobody around and we hope all this material is ready in time for our gig at Paradiso in Amsterdam. Monday 16 august is the day that we’ll start rehearsing again and we’re working very hard to present you one of our best shows so far. Thomas went to Den Haag this weekend for a masterclass from Cesar Zuiderwijk from the Golden Earring and we expect him to return with a lot of refreshing drumbeats!

We’ve not been up to alot of things lately since Thomas is on a holiday in Africa hugging some lions! But we’re sure that he’ll get back in one piece. The remaining three of us have been working on some new material and we think it’s going in a good direction. Also we’re exicited to present our single “Directions” in September and we are surely going to work on a kickass show! Until that time we’ll keep you informed about the things that will happen. Whatever that may be.

Last week we recorded our videoclip and we had a gig at “De Hoornse Stadsfeesten”

Shooting the clip was a new experience for us, it was nice …. now we have to wait till September for the result.
The clip will be presented in Paradiso.

Friday June 18th we played at “De Hoornse Stadfeesten”. Radio 501 invited us.
We had a great gig wich was live broadcasted at the internet radiostation.

RA @ E-Sound Studios

Last Thursday we recorded our single “Directions” at the E-Sound Studios in Weesp.

We arrived at 9:30am and after we had a coffee, we started to line up our gear. It took about 3 hours,
before Mendel, our engineer, was satisfied with the sound and so we started recording.

First we recorded the drum and bass sections,
Thomas and Nigel did e great job on this one …
After this Sander played the rhythmguitar and
Nigel the leadguitar.
When all of this was ready, this took about 4 hours,
Nigel started to record the vocals, 2 hours and a
lot of water later we were satisfied with the results.
At the end of the recording we had the idea to record
a pianosection, so Nigel Kansen played on the
same piano on wich Elton John did one of his Europian
Tours !!
Sunday June13th Nigel and Sander will do the final mix
together with Mendel, our engineer.

We thank Mendel and Jonas for their commitment and the fun we had during recording at the E-Sound Studios !!

Yesterday we had the pre-production of our single “Directions”

We arrived 9.00 am at the studio to do the pre-production. Together with engineer Mendel
and producer Jonas Filtenborg (ex drummer of Beef), we worked on the song “Directions”
Jonas gave us a lot of good advice, so now, after 6 hours rehearsing the song is ready to be recorded.
We’ll do the recording next Thursday.
June 17th we will be shooting the videoclip …
June 18th we will be rocking on “De Hoornse Stadfeesten”

RA @ MADHOUSE in IJmuiden

Last Thursday we visited MADHOUSE in IJmuiden to fit our clothes for the clip.

MADHOUSE sponsered all shirts and jeans for our videoclip, so we had to go there to find the
right look and feel for the clip. I can tell you it was not an easy job.
The producer of the clip instructed us that we had to look foor all kind of bright colors …
But with the help of Bea, our stylingcaoch and the people of MADHOUSE we managed to find
some nice T-shirts, jeans and so on.

Visiting the E-Sound Studios

Yesterday we visited the famous studio in Weesp.

We’ll be recording our new single “Directions” in this awesome studio.
On June 5th we will do the pre-production, this means that our engineer Mendel Pool will
listen to the song and give us tips and tricks.
After this we will try do put all his suggestions into the song and than we’ll play the
song live, this also will be recorded.

June 10th the song will be recorded in “Studio 1″ , this studio is designed by Eddy Veal,
the same guy who engineerd the Abbey Road Studios!!
On the 13th the final mix will complete our adventure in the E-Sound Studios.

We and social networks …

This week we connected all kind of social networks.

We have our own new Hyves page, we Twitter and we have our page on Facebook.
This week we connected all these networks, so in this way we hope that we reach
as much people as possible.

Also we rehearsed and we are now writing some new songs. Nigel, our bassplayer, had a new
idea for a song and also Nigel, the singer, had some new creations, we keep you informed.

May 21th we will visit the E-Sound Studio’s in Weesp. Here our single will be recorded.

What’s up @ NH-Pop Live !!??

We are in the middle of the promotion tour of NH-Pop Live.

As you all know we are one of the five winning acts of the NH-Pop Live project.
Last Thursday we had a meeting with the two producers, Lotte and Guido,
to discuss about the videoclip.
After a brainstorm session of aprox 2, 5 hours we all think we’ve found the right “look and feel”
of the clip.
We hope to record the clip in the beginning of June.

Also the banner we won is almost ready, Anja Kansen … yes the mother of our bassguitar dude,
has made the design. The result will be awesome. We hope we can show it to you at our first
upcomming gig.
