RA at De Melkweg

You all didn’t here from us for a while, but we are still alive and kicking !!
We’ve been working on our new (demo)CD, wich will be recorded in January 2012.
In the weekend of January 14th we go to the Swamp Studios in Raamsdonk, where we’ll  do the recording.
Stephen van Haestregt, former drummer of Within Temptation, is our producer.

For now we wish you a very good 2012 !!

It’s been a while since we updated! So here’s what we’ve been working on:

We are still working on the material for the new EP and the songs on the record will be :

- W.A.R.
- It’s You Again (New!)
- Wide Awake

We will record the ep in December and launch the promotion tour in February! We will keep you updated as much as we can!

RA at De Melkweg

The last weekend of August we represented Noord Holland at the SENA award 2011.
We had a great show, but unfortunately we did not win the award …

Now we are rehearsing the songs for our new (demo)CD wich we’ll record at the Swamp Studios in Raamsdonk.
Our producer is Stephen van Haestregt, former drummer of Within Temptation.
Also we are writing some new songs and maybe one of these songs will be on the CD …

The Holidays are coming to and end, so back to …

Rehearsing, writing new songs, preparing for the recording of our new demo CD and … Saturday August 27 we represent Noord Holland at the SENA performer Popnl award 2011.
Together with 12 other bands we’ll do a showcase at the Melkweg in Amsterdam.

At the end of the evening the band who is booked the most, wins the SENA award, so everybody in Noord Holland come to the Melkweg and support us !! Tickets are for free … you will have an awesome evening enjoying 13 great bands.

The summer of 2011 for us …

Last Sunday we did a show on the first edition of “Het Slaperdijk Festival” in Velserboek. The stage was build on the beach of Villa Westend and fortunately we had great weather !!
The show was awesome; almost 1200 people visited the festival, so it was a great succes.

August the 27th we’ll represent Noord-Holland at the SENA Performer Popnl Award 2011 in the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
Tickets are for free and 50 fans can  travel together with us in a luxury coach, so please let us know asap if you come and support us.

Swamp Studio

In October we’ll start recording our new demo CD at The Swamp Studio in Raamsdonk. Our producer is Stephen van Haestregt (former drummer of Within Temptation)
The recording of the demo is fully sponsored by “EGLO verlichting” from Oosterhout.

And now we are doing some rehearsel and enjoying our Holidays …

Here a little update …

Last Friday we were invited to the radioshow “The Basement” a radioshow of CompleetFM.
For two hours we  joined DJ Rene Bremmers, he played our favorite songs and we played six acoustic songs.

July 10th we’ll do a show at Slaperdijk Festival in Velserbroek, location: the beach of Villa Westend.

Slaperdijk Festival

This festival is a part of the 25 years Velserbroek festivities.
It will start aprox 13.00 hours, we’ll do our gig at 17.00 hours and The Hype will be the last gig this day.

We are in contact with people who are interested in supporting us, so we can record a new demo CD, we keep you informed !!

And last but not least, we are rehearsing for the SENA performer Popnl Award 2011.
So please mark in August 27th in your agenda and bring all of your friends, we will be travelling with a luxury coach to the Melkweg !!

Melkweg June 10th 2011

First we played at Beeckestijpop in Velsen. We did our show on the Oxystage and it was awesome; a lot of people, nice wheater, a perfect organisation, so it was great !!
After this show we had to hurry to Amsterdam to play the final of the Emergenza festival.
We played at The Max, the mainstage of “de Melkweg”, this also was f*cking great.
We did not win the final, because there was first a selection that the six bands who brought the most people where selected and out of this bands the jury chose the winner. Unfortunately a lot of our fans could not come this evening. But nevertheless we had a great time !!

Next Saturday we’ll play at “De Hoornse Stadsfeesten” in the city of  Hoorn.
On July 10th we have a show at “”het Slaperdijkfestival” wich is a part of the festivities of  ”25 years Velserbroek“

This upcoming weekend is a busy one !!

On Friday we have a meeting in Amsterdam with the people of Emergenza, to discuss the final wich we’ll play on Saturday.
Saturday early in the afternoon we’ll go to “De Melkweg” to do the soundcheck, after this we have to speed to Velsen to do our show on edition 33 of Beeckestijnpop.  
When we are ready we’ll travel together with our fans in a luxury coach of Spandon Tours to Amsterdam.
We and 11 other bands will play the final of the Emergenza Festival.

What’s going on and what’s going to happen …

Yesterday we moved our gear to our new rehearselroom, so now we can play on our own instruments again … awesome.
On June 11th we’ll do a show at Beeckestijn Pop in Velsen-Zuid. Our gig starts at approx. 17.00 hours.
Also on June 11th we’ll play the first final of the Emergenza Festival in De Melkweg in Amsterdam. We play our show at approx. 20.30 hours.
Be there we need your support !!

When we are ready with our gig at Beeckestijn Pop, we’ll travel with the luxury coaches of Spandon Tours to Amsterdam, we hope that our fans can be picked up at Velsen-Zuid .. We will keep you posted about this.

Yes we made it … June 11th we’ll play the final of  The Emergenza Festival in De Melkweg.

Together wit approx 75 fans we went to P60 in Amstelveen.
In two luxury coaches sponsored by Spandon Tours we arrived at the venue and as expected the other bands were impressed.

The show was awesome, the audience great, the sound was perfect and in the end we won …

We thank you all for the support and we hope to see you again June 11th in De Melkweg Spandon Tours will sponsor us again, so need to fill the two coaches !!
